Good morrow, bat-lings.

I hope you've survived this holiday season with minimal trauma and as few outbursts of homicidal rage as possible. I'm also wishing you a happy and safe 2026!

With the year coming to an end and things like Spotify wrapped dotting everyone's dashes, I had a silly little idea, and never to be one to ignore a silly idea, I thought of making a "Wrapped" special just for writers.

(In all fairness, I wrote this last year I just forgot about it!)

So here you go, introducing: Your Writing Wrapped!

Below you'll find the copy & paste edition which you can easily (take a wild guess) copy and paste straight into your preferred writing program.

Or, if you're an ink on the sheet freak like me, further down you'll find an attachment to the PDF version.

Be sure to hold on to which ever verison you choose to reflect on next year!

Feel free to post your answers, you can even tag me in them! I'd love to hear about your guys journey.

I look forward to seeing what 2026 has in store for everyone and what answers you'll have this time next year.

Take care, happy writings, and best wishes, fishes!

Let’s dive right in. How do you think writing has affected your life? For better or worse.

Ultimately, what are you hoping to get out of your writing? What keeps you writing?

Are there any specific areas of writing that you think you need to learn more about?

Along with that, as writing can be quite introspective. What’s something you’ve learned about yourself through your writing this year?

What has been your favorite subject to research this year? What's your favorite fact you learned?

How would you describe your writing style or voice, and how do you think it has changed over the past year?

Every journey has its ups and downs. What’s the best advice you received this year? What about the worst?

Looking ahead, what’s one thing you want to leave behind in 2025, and one thing you want to bring into 2026?

What is one key takeaway you want readers to gather from your work? What's the main thing you want to take away from your work this year?

How do you feel your art portrays you? Do you think your work is an accurate insight into the real you?

What’s something you wish someone would have told you at the beginning of the year?

Let’s talk routine. What does your writing routine look like, honestly? What are some changes you think you need to make? Think healthy, take care of yourself, love.

What themes or messages resonated with you this year? What do you feel like you highlighted the most in your work?

Who or what have been your greatest influences as a writer this year?

As we wrap up, what accomplishments are you most proud of this year?
